Where do the ingredients for HelloBello dog food come from?
Our ingredients come exclusively from regional sources in Germany and Austria. We place great value on sourcing raw materials such as fresh vegetables, carbohydrates and our meat from the immediate surroundings. In doing so, we have deliberately chosen to pursue maximum transparency:
Short transport routes instead of exotic meats:
We deliberately avoid meats such as camel, buffalo, ostrich or horse. Horse meat in particular is often requested by people with allergies, but we would have to import it from far abroad (e.g. Southeast Europe) to cover the quantities we need. Short transport routes and reliable regional partners are much more important to us. It is precisely this focus on genuine regionality that is also why we do without an organic seal – because a short route from the conventional, strictly controlled farm next door is far more valuable to us than imported organic meat that has travelled thousands of kilometers.
Strict controls instead of empty promises:
Our meat is subject to the strictest government standards, testing procedures and controls in Germany and Austria. We carefully track every meat delivery to consistently ensure the highest quality.
